British Foreign Secretary sets out his plan for Brexit

British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson has set out his plans for a “glorious” Brexit ahead of Prime Minister Theresa May’s scheduled speech in Italy next week. In an article in a British newspaper on Friday, Johnson wrote that the UK would not pay to access European markets in the future. He said, after Brexit, the UK should borrow to invest in infrastructure, reform the tax code and set immigration levels as it sees fit. Many people criticized the timing of Johnson’s article as “self-serving and disloyal”. It was published around two hours after May put Britain on the highest threat level of critical, meaning a terror attack may be imminent.
